What to expect during your Annual Eye Exam
During your comprehensive annual eye exam our team of highly trained staff will extensively check your eye health.
This is simply checking distance and near vision. Regular vision testing and evaluations ensure that you always have the clearest vision possible. We provide regular vision acuity tests as part of a comprehensive eye exam. A staff member will measure how each eye is seeing by using a wall eye chart and a reading eye chart. Depending on the results of the patients vision test, one of our Optometrist may prescribe corrective glasses, contacts, or eye exercises.
Stereopsis or Depth Perception
The depth perception screening is a series of three dimensional objects that tests eye teaming.
The autorefractor digitally estimates a patients prescription. This instrument will measure the lens needed to accurately focus light on your retina.
It is vital to check the pressure of a patients eye to rule out ocular diseases such as glaucoma.
Know Before You Go
Our color vision screening checks for color blindness. This screening also provides information about your ocular health.
Visual Field Test
The visual field test checks peripheral vision. This test checks for blind spots in vision that could be related to eye disease and other neurological issues.
